During moderate north-westerly winds and relatively cloudy skies 48 Common Scoter flew north on the seawatch, together with 23 Manx Shearwaters and five Curlew.

Three Mute Swans were present on the Headland; one remaining at North Marsh and two new arrivals on Thornwick Pools. There were also 56 Common Scoter off South Landing and two Tufted Duck and two Little Ringed Plovers at Thornwick Pools.
