The weather consisted of light northerly winds, with overcast conditions and showers. During the seawatch, an Eider, 48 Common Scoter, a Red-throated Diver and 43 Sandwich Terns flew north, whilst two Red-throated Divers and two Common Terns moved south. Thornwick Pools attracted a Knot and three Dunlin, with an adult Yellow-legged Gull and four Whimbrel on the beach near South Landing. In addition, a Marbled White butterfly was seen in the village.

West of the Dykes, a Green Sandpiper and male Black Redstart were located at Buckton Pond, a Grasshopper Warbler was re-trapped at Buckton, whilst a Mediterranean Gull overflew Bempton Cliffs RSPB.
