Increasingly strong south-westerly winds featured, with a band of wet snow arriving in the afternoon; temperatures peaked at two degrees C. During the seawatch, a Pintail flew south, 25 Purple Sandpipers were in residence and tens of thousands of Guillemots flew past the Fog Station.
Six White-fronted Geese frequented North Marsh, while Thornwick Pools attracted three Jack Snipe. West of the Dykes, single Woodcock and Mistle Thrush and two Bullfinch were recorded at Buckton.
